ABBEY Clancy has revealed she was ghosted by telly execs after being offered a role in a hit ITV comedy.
The model, 39, dropped the bombshell after reading a story from a The Therapy Crouch listener about using colloquialisms.

They spoke about the use of the Merseyside phrase “come ‘ed”;, which means ‘come ahead’.
It got Abbey thinking about the sitcom G’wed, the title of which means ‘go ahead’.
She said: “They asked me to be in that. I said yes but they never got back to me.”;
It prompted husband Peter Crouch to start laughing.
Abbey continued in a broad scouse accent: “Come ‘ed, lad. Get in touch, yeah?!”;
The second series of G’wed aired in February and a third is already in the works.
The Liverpool based coming of age series follows a gang of lovable scousers contending with grief, sex, diversity and class differences.
Nana Hughes, Head of Comedy ITV previously said: “It is great to see that G’wed has resonated with our audiences.
“Danny Kenny’s writing had us crying with laughter one second, crying real tears the next and then back to laughter.
“And the hugely talented cast brought so much charm and cheek to the show, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Liverpool for a second and third series.”;
The series was reportedly ITV’s best performing sitcom launch since March 2020 whenmade its debut.
