Now, 36 years on, the group has evolved while still holding on to their signature sound.

Now they are back together for a charity performance leaving fans doing a double take.
, made up of Chynna Phillips, Carnie Wilson and Wendy Wilson, reunited over the weekend for a one off comeback gig.
They attended the Aspen Snow Ball Gala in Colorado, raising money for the Children’s Oncology Support Fund.
The glam event was held at the luxury St Regis Aspen Resort on March 21.
Posing side by side, the trio beamed for photos as they marked the rare reunion.
They also treated guests to performances of some of their biggest hits.
Their biggest track Hold On shot to No1 in 1990 and made them global stars.
It was followed by hits including Release Me and You’re In Love.
The band found huge success throughout the decade, quickly becoming one of the era’s most recognisable acts.
At the height of their fame, the group split in 1993 following immense pressure and creative differences after their second album.

The shock breakup came just as they had become one of the best selling female acts of their time.
They later reunited in 2004 and have continued to perform together ever since.
All three members were born into music royalty, with family ties to some of the most iconic bands of all time.
Their story is also deeply rooted in music royalty.Carnie and Wendy are the daughters of Beach Boys legend Brian Wilson.
While Chynna is the child of John and Michelle Phillips of 60s pop group The Mamas and The Papas.
The reunion comes after renewed interest in the Wilson family following Brian’s death.
The music icon passed away aged 82 after a long battle with dementia.
His relationship with daughters Carnie and Wendy was often strained over the years.
Their parents divorced in 1979 after a turbulent marriage marked by his struggles with addiction and poor mental health.
The sisters later opened up about their estrangement in emotional interviews and music.
Carnie once admitted “We cannot call him up and we cannot see him. I guess we could but we are so afraid of each other. I do not know what I would say to him.”
In 1992 they released the track Flesh and Blood as a heartfelt message to their father.
Despite the difficult past, the family eventually reconciled, with Brian later becoming one of the group’s biggest supporters.
