FRANCE have finally decided who will succeed long-serving Didier Deschamps as their national team boss.
Philippe Diallo, the French Football Federation (FFF) president, has confirmed to Le Figaro that he has decided who will take over from Deschamps after the World Cup this summer.

Following 14 years in charge where he won the 2018 World Cup and finished runner-up in the 2022 World Cup and 2016 European Championship, 103-cap French legend will step down.
Diallo previously revealed that he won’t reveal the successor before the end of France’s involvement in the 2026 World Cup.
However, he has now admitted that they have secured the next French boss.“

It’s long been believed that legend – and former Deschamps national team-mate – is the leading candidate.
L’Equipe previously revealed that the French FA has already started the groundwork to form Zidane’s backroom staff.
The legendary midfielder has stated the French job was the only one he has wanted despite being linked to every top job in Europe since departing Madrid.
Deschamps and the French squad will get an early feel of America next week as they play a couple of international friendly games on US soil, specifically on the East Coast.
France will face ’s Brazil on Thursday 26th March at Foxborough’s Gillette Stadium before locking horns with Colombia, three days later, at Landover’s Northwest Stadium.
France will enter the newly expanded 48-team World Cup this summer with and winner just some of the names in their ranks.
France were drawn in Group I with Senegal and Norway, but they’ve had to wait to discover the final team in their group thanks to the World Cup playoffs.
