Former Manchester United defender Paul Parker has described England forward Jadon Sancho as a ‘complete waste of money’.
Parker, however, said he was not qualified to link the player’s failure at Old Trafford to mental health issues.
According to the former defender, the former Dortmund winger has been a massive disappointment since joining the Red Devils in a £72m deal from the Bundesliga club.
“It’s tough for me to talk about his[Sancho] mentality, but I can say that he has been a complete waste of money,” Parker told BeMyBet.
“But he needs to focus on performing now. He’s doing nothing right on the pitch.
“He needs to look at himself in the mirror.
“Maybe he needs to go back to Germany and even Bayern Munich could be an option.”
The winger was overlooked in the squad selected by Gareth Southgate for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, where England crashed out to France in the quarter-finals.
