Former Chelsea defender, Wayne Bridge, has named the two World Cup stars he wants his former club to sign in the near future.
According to Bridge, he would like Chelsea to sign the likes of West Ham United’s Declan Rice and Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham at Stamford Bridge.
He described Rice as a very intelligent player and Bellingham as one of the best players in England.
“They are the future, aren’t they? Youngs guys at the top of their game, great talent,” Bridge Football London.
“He is great Jude, I think he is probably one of England’s best players, and he is going to be around for a long time. Obviously, Declan, he sits in that midfield, he can make teams tick sometimes.
“He is playing that Makelele-type role, he’s great defensively, he is great at passing, and he’s actually technically a very skilful player as well.
“I have seen stuff in training that he does with the ball – he is a very good player and an intelligent player as well.
“I would like to see both at Chelsea. In the Premier League these days you need a lot of good players. You don’t need just 11 good players, you need 22, 25 players.”
