Former Premier League star, Clinton Morrison, has named midfielder Bruno Fernandes as the player Manchester United misses during their Premier League 3-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Sunday.
Fernandes was not available for the game at Villa Park because he has already picked up five yellow cards this season.
Goals from Leon Bailey, Lucas Digne and Jacob Ramsey gave Aston Villa the victory over Man United.
âManchester United miss Bruno Fernandes,â Morrison told BBC Radio 5 Live. âThey miss that creative spark.
âThey miss that someone who plays that incisive pass, and thatâs why they have struggled in that final third.”
He added, âAston Villa have been excellent and they thoroughly deserve this. Donât think this is a fluke scoreline.
âVilla have deserved this. Manchester Unitedâs goal was a very fluky goal, but other than that, Villa have been excellent and could probably have scored more goals.
âUnai Emery tactically got it spot on.â
