Mikel Arteta has included 15-year-old teenager, Ethan Nwaneri in Arsenal’s team for today’s Premier League clash against Brentford.
Nwaneri was promoted to Arsenal’s first team training this week due to his impressive performances.
He was left out of the club’s Under-21 team draw with Wolves on Saturday, having been informed he would be training with the first team ahead of their trip across London.
And Nwaneri is part of the squad for today’s clash against the Bees, with the midfielder hopeful of earning a place on the bench.
Arteta is keen on showing the teenager that there is a pathway to him into the Gunners first team.
Nwaneri has scored four goals and provided four assists in his appearances for the U18s and U21s this season.
