Former Arsenal winger, Freddie Ljungberg has predicted that Mikel Arteta’s side are the favourites in their English Premier League clash against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Arsenal are yet to drop a point after five Premier League games.
The Gunners are leading Premier League champions Manchester City by a point on the log and with a game in hand.
The North London club will seek to extend their perfect record on Sunday evening after beating the likes of Fulham, Bournemouth and Aston Villa in the past.
Meanwhile, Manchester United will hope to extend their own winning streak, having beaten the likes of Liverpool, Southampton and Leicester City in their previous three games.
Speaking to The Sun, Ljungberg said, “This season, Arsenal look really good. Winning five games in a row is a great start for the season. They spent the money again this summer and have great players. And as a result, they look great. But I don’t think they’ve exceeded expectations. The team looks strong, players on players.”
“Now they face a sterner test against United, even if I think they’re favourites as they look better than them. But United have won three games in a row, so it is going to be a really interesting game.”
