Former Manchester City star, Trevor Sinclair has called on the English FA to draft in to help fix video assistant referee, VAR.
VAR was the huge talking point over the weekend with a number of decisions coming under scrutiny.
Particularly the decision to disallow goals from West Ham against Chelsea and Newcastle against Crystal Palace that would have been match-defining.
Sinclair believes former players need to come in to help fix VAR
“I wouldn’t say it’s referees admitting they don’t know anything about football,” he told talkSPORT.
“If you can get the help that ex-players and managers have got, why not utilise it?!”
“It can be an open discussion!”
