EGYPT fans clashed with cops and clambered on London buses after the African side’s record-breaking World Cup win against Australia.

Chants of “Free Palestine” also rang out on the streets of the capital after their against the Socceroos last night.

Footage showed around 1,000 fans waving Egyptian flags and chanting, with some clambering on double decker buses and cars in the road.

But things turned ugly as officers arrived to disperse the huge crowds on Edgware Road – known as ‘s ‘Little Cairo’.

One shocking video reportedly shows a grey 4×4 driving through the crowd before knocking into a man and leaving him on the floor.

The said the victim was rushed to hospital after suffering a broken arm in the collision.

In other clips shared on social media, cops could be seen tussling with fans as the celebrations spilled onto the road and brought traffic to a halt.

Chants of “Free Palestine” could also be heard as officers looked to bring the disorder under control.

Blue lights lit up the road, which is littered with Egyptian cafes and shisha bars, as loud music echoed through the streets of central London.

Scotland Yard confirmed no arrests had been made following the disorder but urged anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for the force said: “Police were called at 21:57hrs on Friday, 3 July to reports of disorder on Edgware Road.

“Officers attended the scene where around 1,000 people were gathered in the road.

“A 41-year-old man who was involved in a collision with a car was taken to hospital for treatment of a suspected broken arm.

“The group was safely dispersed and no arrests were made at the scene.

“Enquiries are ongoing including examining CCTV to identify any offences.

“Please call 101 with the reference 8981/03JUL if you were a witness.”

The victory, which saw Mohammed Salah and his teammates progress into the last 16, was Egypt’s first win in a World Cup knockout game.

Speaking after the game, Salah – who left Liverpool at the end of the Premier League season – said: “I’m happy we wrote ​history today”.
