This poses a potential risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or its components.

The recall affects the JS Free From Breaded Mini Fillets, with best before dates ranging from November 15 to November 20.

“We have been informed that packets of JS Free From Breaded Mini Fillets 305g purchased at Sainsbury’s with the above Use By dates have been contaminated with milk,” Sainsbury’s stated in a release.

The Food Standards Agency added: “Sainsbury’s is recalling this product from customers and has contacted relevant allergy support organizations, which will inform their members about the recall.

“The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers.

“These notices explain to customers the reason for the recall and provide guidance on what to do if they have purchased the product.

“If you have bought this product and have an allergy or intolerance to milk or its components, do not consume it.

“Instead, return it to the store where it was purchased for a full refund.

This action follows a recent urgent recall by another retailer concerning some of its products due to undeclared allergens.

The chocolate bars being recalled include the Cadbury Dairy Milk, Milka Whole Nut, and others.

These products have been found not to list ingredients such as nuts, soya, wheat, and gluten in English on their packaging.

In October, M&S had to urgently recall one of its popular chocolate snacks due to a potentially life-threatening allergen.

Shoppers were advised to avoid packs of the luxury retailer’s chocolate due to undeclared peanuts.

M&S removed the 120g packs due to concerns they pose a risk to allergy sufferers.

Customers were also advised to return products with the barcode number 0917568/29143603.

This action by Aldi follows shortly after the supermarket chain had to issue another recall.

The company announced that Aldi would withdraw all its Panatas part-baked six-pack custard tarts due to undeclared allergens.

The packaging error means it could pose a health risk to those with allergies.
