CONOR McGREGOR has hailed the new BKFC heavyweight champion Andre Arlovski after the former UFC star overcame cancer THREE times.
The 47-year-old was the heavyweight champion way back in 2005 but only had his final UFC encounter in 2024.

Fighting under Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship banner, the Belarus-born brawler took on former UFC foe Ben Rothwell in a trilogy fight.
And the result was exactly the same as their first two fights back in 2008 and 2019 – an Arlovski win.
This time, Arlovski captured the BKFC heavyweight title at BKFC KnuckleMania 6 on Saturday night and left Rothwell a bloody mess with a vintage performance.
Arlovski, who holds the records for most wins in UFC heavyweight history at 23, eventually forced a doctor’s stoppage in the third round of their trilogy in Philadelphia.
BKFC part-owner McGregor, perhaps the most famous UFC legend himself, was full of praise for Arlovski.
“Andre Arlovski, three-time cancer survivor, is now the Bareknuckle HW World Champ!
“Hero is an understatement!”
The Pitbull had a tumour removed from his kidney just last year.
Arlovski had taken to social media ahead of the fight to reflect on his three battles with cancer .
He turned 47 on February 4 — also World Cancer Day — and made sure to provide encouragement to those going through similar traumas.
“Guys, people who are in the battle right now with the f***ing cancer, don’t f***ing give up,” Arlovski said on the mic.
“I’m a great f***ing example. Three-time cancer survivor. Keep f***ing fighting.
“Life is beautiful.”
