But judging from his latest Instagram post, he’s very much enjoying his time off.
The winger shared a series of snaps from his recent activities over the last few weeks in a photo dump on his Instagram.
Some of the photos were from a warm getaway, and one was of him at .
The Blues ace also dropped in a picture of one of the expensive motors in his fleet of cars.
And he was in a somewhat philosophical mood when captioning the snaps.
His accompanying caption for the carousel post read: “Could be worse.”
Palmer has seemingly not let being left off the plane for the 2026 affect him.
But according to a source close to the playmaker, he was crushed by Tuchel’s decision.
They told SunSport: “Not making the squad hit Cole hard, like all the other players, including and .
“It was a tough pill to swallow.
“Naturally these lads live for and to represent their team at the World Cup is what they all want to do.
“Cole almost immediately took himself away for a break with Olivia to get into the right frame of mind.
