CHLOE Madeley has slammed Jameela Jamil for comments she made about “scarily thin” female celebs at Sunday night’s Baftas.
Actress and women’s rights activist Jameela, 40, said she “resented” being skinny is “being pushed on everyone” in a scathing statement on Instagram.

She wrote: “The women at the were scarily thin… it’s a specifically fragile type of thin.
“I resent this beauty standard being pushed on everyone, I resent the obedience of my industry, and fear the impact on impressionable people at home thinking that this is the only way to be accepted.”
In a call to action, she demanded women “be strong” and “fight back for our ever diminishing rights and safety.”
She claimed it was a political agenda pushing women to be “frail”.
In a follow-up caption she urged women to “refuse to starve ourselves” and encouraged them to be “whatever size you wish”.
Jameela then urged: “Eat your protein. Eat your carbs. Hit something today.”
She accepted she was a slim woman and admitted it isn’t nice being ridiculed for being thin.
Without explicitly mentioning weight loss jabs, she continued: “This is about the sudden group weight loss of an entire industry of women of all different ages, ethnicities, heights and builds. Even new mums.”
While many followers, including some celebs, applauded Jameela’s words, fitness expert Chloe Madeley, 38, wasn’t among them.
Instead, she took to her own Instagram story to pick apart Jameela’s words.

She wrote: “Imagine being so full of yourself and your feminist views that you publicly determine another woman’s body size as a deliberate bend to the patriarchy. The woman doing this does not read as feminist to me. At all. AT ALL.”
She added: “Love the sentiment but women’s physical strength and size isn’t going to end the patriarchy.
“This is just a thinly veiled dig at another woman’s body size all in the name of (deeply misguided) feminism.”
Bodygate wasn’t the only controversy to emerge from the ceremony.
The BBC came under fire for airing the moment an audience member with Tourette’s involuntarily shouted a racist slur as black actors Delroy Lindo and presented the award for special visual effects.
Despite there being a two-hour time delay on the BBC’s coverage, the racial slur was aired to millions.
The episode has now been pulled off BBC iPlayer after initial outrage.
A BBC spokesperson said: “Some viewers may have heard strong and offensive language during the BAFTA Film Awards.
“This arose from involuntary verbal tics associated with Tourette syndrome, and as explained during the ceremony it was not intentional.
“We apologise that this was not edited out prior to broadcast and it will now be removed from the version on BBC iPlayer.”
