BEATING Burnley should have been walk in the park for Chelsea after they caught some winter sun in Dubai this week.

, sliding in to bundle home a Pedro Neto cross.

A few chances fell to in Blue, but the ice-cold star was a little off the boil in terms of his finishing, which cost them in the end.

There looked to be few signs of any hangover until

Rosenior is yet to lose a league game since he joined, but now that the fixtures get tougher, it will be the next run of games that decides where his team are once May comes.

He will be hoping that these two points dropped don’t cost Chelsea too heavily in the race for a place.

This is how SunSport Chelsea reporter Lloyd Canfield rated the players…

ROBERT SANCHEZ – 5

Wasn’t massively tested in terms of his shot-stopping, but his distribution was decent, and he often came to collect any crosses that came into his area.

Booked in added time for attempting to take a free-kick too far forwards, and could only stand and watch as Flemming headed home the leveller.

REECE JAMES – 7

Adored by Chelsea fans, James put in a good performance in a fairly advanced right-back role today.d

He was impressive in terms of his attacking and defensive play, rarely giving the ball away and not giving any joy on the left flank for Burnley.

WESLEY FOFANA – 3

A first-half yellow card saw him walk a tightrope for most of the game, and he fell off it when he picked up a red card with 20 minutes still to play.

He was actually pretty goodbut those two mistimed moments put the game and three points into jeopardy for his side.

Ultimately, it is he who will get the blame for two more points dropped.

TREVOH CHALOBAH – 7

A really solid performance from Chalobah today, who was strong in the air and played some really good balls out from the back too.

The physicality of Burnley’s forward line was no match for him until Flemming rose highest to head home the equaliser.

MALO GUSTO – 3

Some of his passing was wayward as he played a slightly obscure inverted left-back role in this one.

He seemed a bit of a ghost in midfield, but to his credit, he wasn’t caused many issues by the Burnley right side.

MOISES CAICEDO – 8

Caicedo hasn’t quite been up to his usual standards in recent weeks, but was fantastic today.

Is often labelled a ‘shin-kicker’ by opposition fans, but his perfectly weighted through ball to for Chelsea’s opener is a brilliant example of why he’s so much more than that.

Caicedo is always excellent at breaking up play, but his performance today was so well-rounded.

ANDREY SANTOS – 6

Has been one of Chelsea’s best and most consistent performers since Rosenior came in.

Santos was always on hand to help his side find a way out of their half and was excellent in transition today, having picked up the man-of-the-match award in the reverse fixture at Turf Moor.

COLE PALMER – 5

Started the game brightly, and had a big chance to make it 2-0 before half-time as he surged through on goal, only for the pace of to put him off.

The Blues’ number 10 had some really sharp moments on the ball, and carried it forward well from midfield,

Let down by his usually immaculate first touch on a few occasions, and ultimately, it is his missed chances that will be looked at.

ENZO FERNANDEZ – 5

Was engrossed in a battle with Hannibal for large parts of the game in midfield, and did well in terms of being combative and keeping possession ticking over for his side.

PEDRO NETO – 6

They generally don’t love it at Stamford Bridge when Neto plays instead of Estevao, due to his inconsistency in terms of his end product, but injury ruled the Brazilian out of this one.

after his hat-trick against Hull City last time out, as the winger looks to win over fans.

His all-around wing play was pretty good, too, on both flanks, as he worked tirelessly for the team, especially when they went down to ten men.

JOAO PEDRO – 7

Is the talk of the town at Stamford Bridge right now, and he continued his incredible run of form with

He looks like the same guy he did at the in the summer – a tenacious number nine who links up play well and has an eye for all types of goals.

The creme de la creme of Premier League strikers right now.

TOSIN (Cole Palmer, 74) – 5

Replaced in the hopes of securing the Chelsea backline after Fofana was sent off, and did exactly that.

JORREL HATO (Malo Gusto, 80) – 5

Perhaps should’ve started instead of at left-back, and did well when he came on to see out the win for Chelsea.

LIAM DELAP (Joao Pedro, 80) – 5

Came on and held the ball up well at times as a focal point for the Blues to aim at.

Had one half-chance from outside the box and leathered it over the bar.
