Ozark season 4 is not coming to Netflix in May 2021

We’re all waiting to see what’s up next for the Byrde family on Ozark, but unfortunately, it looks like we might have to keep waiting a while. The final season of the hit Netflix show is on the horizon, but we’ve just got the list of new releases for May 2021, and it looks like we’re about to go yet another month without new episodes from the crime drama. We can confirm to you all that Ozark season 4 is not debuting in May.

This enthralling series stars Jason Bateman as Marty Byrde, Laura Linney as his wife, Wendy Byrde, Julia Garner as Ruth Langmore, and a handful of other talented actors. Ruth Langmore quickly became one of my favorite Netflix characters of all time when I started watching Ozark, and I’m sure many people would agree. I’m so excited to see how the streaming platform concludes this show!

As mentioned earlier, Netflix shared its lineup of popular releases for May, which includes Selena: The Series season 2, Who Killed Sara? season 2, and Lucifer season 5 part 2, just to name a few. Notably absent from that list is Ozark season 4.

Ozark season 4 release date

We still don’t have a confirmed release date for Ozark season 4, so we keep hoping each month that Netflix will surprise us with news or even the new episodes. Sadly, according to a new tidbit of information we got just this week, we have reason to believe Ozark will not be returning anytime this year.

As we previously reported, Netflix published a shareholder letter on April 20, which revealed the big releases coming to the platform this year. Included in the list is Sex Education season 3, The Witcher season 2, You season 3, and a few other popular titles. We quickly noticed, however, that Ozark season 4 is left off.

At this point, we’re not holding our breath for Ozark season 4 to hit Netflix in 2021, but we’ll keep you updated on all the information and teases we get!
