Money Heist season 5 is not coming to Netflix in June 2021

Now that Money Heist season 5 has officially finished filming, all eyes are on Netflix to provide answers to the burning questions about the upcoming season including the one question on the minds of every fan: when Money Heist season 5 will be arriving!

Although there was a lot of hope among fans that season 5 would be arriving sometime in the spring of 2021 and rumors seem to suggest it was a strong possibility, that all changed when the pandemic delayed production.

Because production only just wrapped in May, it should come with little surprise that Money Heist season 5 was missing from the list of shows and movies confirmed to be coming in June 2021. That’s right, Money Heist will not be arriving in June meaning the wait is going to continue for at least another month.

Now that we can rule out a June 2021 release date, just when exactly will season 5 be coming to Netflix?

When it comes to announcing release dates for its original shows and movies, Netflix tends not to reveal its hand too early in typically making fans wait until about a month out from when the new season will release before confirming the official release date. Because of this, it’s unclear when exactly an official release date for Money Heist season 5 will be revealed.

One thing we do know is that season 5 is going to be coming sometime this year unless there is an unexpected delay. In fact, it might arrive as early as late summer.

That’s right, rumor has it Money Heist season 5 could arrive sometime in September 2021 which would be quite a quick turnaround for a show that only just wrapped production in May.
