ARNE SLOT may be forced to move for Antoine Semenyo – and ruin Manchester United’s plans to land him next month.

But last Friday Slot indicated that January would not be the time for laying out even more big money.

And that to bring in more talent players would have to be sold, just as in the summer when £200m was raised through departures that included Luis Diaz, Darwen Nunez and Jarell Quansah.

The Dutchman stressed: “The outside world believe we have unlimited money but that is not true.

“You insiders know what we have brought in to spend. That is the way we work here and I fully believe in that way of working by the way.”
