Alleged incitement: Kwara Gov, AbdulRazaq drags brothers to court

Published on June 30, 2025 at 12:28 PM

‎Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has dragged one Moshood Mustapha and his brother, Bolakale Mustapha, to court over alleged disturbance of public peace, false declaration, and uploading of an online video that could incite the public against the government.

They were on Monday arraigned before a State High Court presided over by Justice Muhammed Abdulgafar.

The two men, however, pleaded not guilty to the five counts leveled against them over the video, which the governor said could cause public incitement against him and the government.

They were later granted bail in the sum of five million naira, while the case was adjourned till July 18, 2025, for commencement of trial.

The second defendant is said to be a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) before a fallout with the governor.
