ALEX IWOBI was sent off for a bizarre “WWE move” while on international duty with Nigeria.

The midfielder was in action for the African nation in their friendly match against Jordan.

The challenge caught the attention of fans who reacted on social media.

The match ended in a 2-2 draw with Moses Simon and debutant Emmanuel Fernandez netting for Nigeria.

Mousa Al-Tamari netted the opener for Jordan before they fell behind but a late goal from Mohammad Ratib Mohammad Al-Daoud saw the match drawn.

Iwobi will soon be on his way back to for the return of action with Fulham.

The Cottagers travel to on April 11 as they look to earn a top 10 finish.
